On Saturday September 17, all twelve ISL volleyball teams convened at Milton Academy for the league’s annual play day, officially kicking off their seasons. The themes of the day were sportsmanship, growth, and collaboration as all teams played against four other schools in a set of mini-scrimmages over the course of the afternoon with high-intensity volleyball being played simultaneously on four courts. To de-emphasize competition, there were no points on the scoreboard, and teams did not wear uniforms. Players on all teams left with big smiles and optimism for the upcoming season.
