Rivers Football Player Receives MHSFCA Costello Courageous Player Award

Nick Revers ’15 missed his entire junior season of football at Rivers after sustaining a serious knee injury before the year began. Through many months of hard work and rehab, Nick was able to return for his senior season and because of that, he has been recognized as one of eight statewide recipients of the Coach Paul F. Costello Courageous Player Award.

Roxbury Latin's Dario Zarrabian Selected as Secondary School Scholar-Athlete

Congratulations to Dario Zarrabian of Class I on being selected as one of the "secondary school scholar-athletes" to be honored at the 40th Annual banquet of the Jack Grinold Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 13th at the Marriott Hotel in Newton. Dario will attend Harvard University next fall.

Lawrence Academy brings home the NEPSAC's 2014 Hugh Caldera Bowl

Groton Beats St. Mark's in a Game for the Ages

Great rivalries beget great games – and today's contest against the Lions of St. Mark’s (the two schools’ 125th meeting on the gridiron) was, by any measure, a truly great game.  With the lead changing hands no fewer than seven times during the course of the game, and with a total of thirteen touchdowns scored before the final whistle, this legendary matchup provided its lucky spectators with about as much excitement as a football game can possibly generate.

Dewey Jarvis Honored as Scholar-Athlete with Selection to National Football Foundation Hall of Fame

Sixth Former Dewey Jarvis was recently honored with a prestigious Scholar-Athlete Award from the Jack Grinold Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation. Those selected come from over 200 parochial, private, and public schools, and were picked by a committee of college admission directors, secondary school athletic directors and coaches, and members of the media.
