James Donahue Concludes a Most Impressive Cross-Country Career at Belmont Hill

Belmont Hill’s James Donahue recently completed a remarkable cross-country career at the School, with many course records marking the way. James was honored as the ISL MVP to cap the season. See the list at the bottom of this piece to get a sense of James’s vast accomplishments.

"James established himself as one of the most prolific runners in the history of Belmont Hill,” says varsity cross-country coach Tyson Trautz. “He runs with a tenacity and drive that very few runners possess. The many honors he has received and course records he has broken speak for themselves. Most importantly, James is a wonderful young man of character and integrity, mentoring our younger runners and leading by example. He represents the best of what Belmont Hill stands for."James will run at the University of Virginia next year, and places deep value in all that his Belmont Hill experience has meant to him. “It has been a true honor wearing the Belmont Hill jersey for the past six years; the school, my coaches, and classmates have shaped me into who I am today. For that, I will be forever grateful.”
