The Belmont Hill squash team added to its storied legacy with another ISL title, clinching it with a pulsating 5-2 win over Milton Academy.
The team finished with an impressive 12-1 regular-season record.
Highlights of the season also include a 4th place finish in the New England championship and an 8th place finish in the High School Nationals. Coach Bob Brownell also cites a 4-3 win over Avon Old Farms to move to the New England semi-finals and two big wins over a strong Andover team as rallying points in the season.
“It was a very impressive season for the team,” Coach Brownell says. “I was proud of our kids.”
