This spring, the Varsity Baseball team staged an activity challenge where each member of the team was challenged to record swings, throws or other physical activity of their choosing in exchanged for donations to charity. The team logged more than 25,000 reps and as a result, raised $1,000 dollars for charity.
The team’s three captains, Marc Portlock ’20, Cole Cleary ’20, and Kevin Campbell ’20, chose the charity Feeding America and through donations from the coaching staff and a few parents, the team donated the money raised in honor of the three graduating senior captains.
With the donation, Feeding America will be able to provide 10,000 meals to families in need.
